Inner sleeves:
This double album was recorded during five concerts which Jean Michel Jarre presented in Peking and Shanghai. The concerts were the first performances of rock or contemporary music ever given in the People's Republic of China.
Jean-Michel Jarre wrote several new compositions for this historic occasion, including "Night in Shanghai", "Laser Harp", "Arpegiator", "Orient Express", "Souvenir of China" and "Fishing Junks at Sunset", which was performed and recorded with the Peking Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra.
Recorded in Peking and Shangai in October 1981 on Flight Mobile with the Saje console.
Mixed on MCI Equipment.

The inner sleeves incorrectly list "Laser Harp" as the closing track of side 2 instead of side 3.

Совсем даже не собирался выкладывать Жарра, но пришли гости, у одного оказался при себе диск. Вот не удержался я и сделал рип. Вспомнил годы молодые, пронастальгировал.
Особенно красив для меня четвертый трек, где синтезатор Жарра очень органично, как будто он всегда это играл, ложится на китайскую музыку, просто сказка какая то волшебная.
Последний трек почему то битый, хотя на CD нет ни царапинки, наверное заводской брак.
