Esagono biography:
70's italian jazzrock progressive band, born from the ashes of Arti & Mestieri.
The project was to melt jazzrock and classic music dealing with musicians coming out from Conservatories ( Statal music schools) Claudio Montafia, flute, Gianni Cinti, oboe, Marco Gallesi, bass ( ex Arti & Mestieri). Marco Cimino, keyboards and cello ( ex Errata Corrige nad A&M;) , Giorgio Diaferia, drums.
First release "Vicolo" 1977, cd in 2005, "Due" 2006, forthcoming "Apocalypso" 2007.
Worth a listen.
